“It’s so transparent, it’s basically not there.”
Phoenix, AZ — In a move sure to disrupt the construction industry (and possibly physics), Sharp Construction announced today the launch of their latest innovation: Invisible Drywall™.
“It’s everything your average drywall is—except, you know, visible,” said Tiffany Sharp, Founding Principal of Sharp Construction, while standing in front of what appeared to be absolutely nothing. “We’ve eliminated the hassle of finishing, painting, and even acknowledging the wall altogether.”
Invisible Drywall™ promises faster build times, lower material costs, and the added benefit of always knowing what’s behind your walls—because you can see right through them.
“We had some early issues with subcontractors accidentally walking through entire rooms,” admitted John Vidales, VP of Operations, “but we’ve solved that with Invisible Safety Tape™. Or at least we think we put it up…”
The new product has also drawn interest from the tech community, with rumors swirling that Elon Musk wants to use it to build the first fully transparent Mars colony.
Not everyone is on board. Critics argue that Invisible Drywall™ is just “nothing” being sold for something. “We literally got billed for air,” said one confused property manager. “But the invoice came with a Sharp logo, so we trusted it.”
Despite the controversy, Sharp Construction stands firm behind the new innovation. “We’ve always been on the cutting edge of construction,” said Terry Scott, General Superintendent. “Now we’re on the cutting edge of… conceptual walls.”
Invisible Drywall™ hits the market today, April 1st, 2025.
